Description:

I am a 19 year old Autistic lady living in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot. I am looking for a personal assistant to support me out in the community and support me with life skills.

I love going out in the car for a drive, going to Starbucks and going down to the beach. Most of my time with the PA will be spent driving round places I enjoy, and sitting with me in the car when we are there. I can be very anxious so will need some reassurance when out in the community and need someone who can hold a conversation with me and put me at ease. PA would support with meal preparation and would Prompt and encourage me to clean my bedroom and put my laundry away.

Routine is massively important to me. As my autism affects me in different ways, I would prefer to have a PA with some experience of supporting young adults with Autism. I am looking for a PA that is committed to providing me with long term support.
