Description:

I am a lady in my 60s living in the Neath area with my husband. I have Dementia which affects my short term memory. I’m very chatty and sociable, I love spending time with people, being out and about in the community, chatting to neighbours or just people watching. I enjoy going shopping and being in places where there’s lots of things going on. I used to like attending church groups, concerts and going swimming but could sometimes be a little disruptive. I now also attend friendship groups several times a week.  Sometimes I just like to go for a spin in the car. I’m a very maternal person and love spending time in the presence of children.

I’m looking for a PA who can help me maintain my independence and dignity for as long as possible and to support my husband to have a break. I’d like my PA to take me out to do things I enjoy, to keep me safe whilst we’re out in the community and who can explore different ways of supporting me.
